The Jacksonville Public Library has 21 branches with programming for people of all ages! There are story hours for young readers, “Drop Everything and Read” events, summer crafts and art events! New Worlds Reading

Help your child read on grade level with free books and reading activities from Florida’s New Worlds Reading Initiative. New Worlds Reading Initiative offers free books and reading resources for students in K-5 who are not reading on grade level. 

Caregivers can also find resources and videos to help young readers develop literacy skills.
