BookSmart - A Free Digital Library

Read anytime, anywhere, with BookSmart!

With BookSmart, children have the required tools to build their reading skills through high-quality books, activities that reinforce reading skills in fun and interactive ways, and where they are celebrated for their reading success. It's never been easier to achieve 20 minutes of reading a day than with BookSmart!

Jacksonville Public Library

The Jacksonville Public Library has 21 branches with programming for people of all ages! There are story hours for young readers, “Drop Everything and Read” events, summer crafts and art events! Library cards are free and students can use their school ID as a library card. See all the great things happening at a library near you!

New Worlds Reading

Help your child read on grade level with free books and reading activities from Florida’s New Worlds Reading Initiative. New Worlds Reading Initiative offers free books and reading resources for students in K-5 who are not reading on grade level. 

Caregivers can also find resources and videos to help young readers develop literacy skills.

"Virtual Coach"

An interactive program that delivers health and educational guidance to families and caregivers of infants through early childhood.
